2 | Labels to Print from Product Report

This article outlines a brief overview of Printing Labels from a Product Report based on Quantity on Hand and also based on Pricing Rules for all Price Modes. The end-user is able to do the following: Print Labels from a Product Report based on QTY on Hand; and Print Labels with special pricing rules for all Price Modes.


This article outlines a brief overview of Printing Labels from a Product Report based on Quantity on Hand and also based on Pricing Rules for all Price Modes.

The end-user is able to do the following: Print Labels from a Product Report based on QTY on Hand; and Print Labels with special pricing rules for all Price Modes.

A button called "From Report" under Product Labels allows for easier management of labels and Products that can be used for Product custom Reports, the Stock on Hand Report, and Promotions Reports.

This Price Mode calculations include: Use Base Price, Percent Disc, Discount or Surcharge, Zero Price, Last Cost Plus, Use Price No Tax, Pro-Rata Size Price.

Prerequisites 

  • N/A


Getting Started

  • Create Report Data that is grouped based on Products; this could be via the Sales Report Creator based on Products, or a Product Summaries, or Stock on Hand, etc.
  • Product ID is required in any report to import Print Labels
  • Click Save Report which will open the following prompt:
    • Fill in the Report's Name
    • Select the report type (Personal, Global or Global Hidden Report)
    • Click OK



Print Labels from a Product Report

  • Navigate to Marketing & Promotions and select Product Labels
  • Click on "From Report" button to prompt a Saved Report window

  • If the report has a "Qty on Hand" column, it will not prompt the operator how many to print; it will print based on the Qty on Hand column
    • Eg, Qty on Hand is 1.5 will Print Qty of 2
    • If any products have no valid Qty on Hand data they will not print
    • Any product that has negative Qty on Hand will also not print
    • However, if there is no Qty on Hand column in the report, it will prompt the end user how many to print per product
  • Highlight the desired Saved Report and click "Select Saved Report"

    


  • A PriceNumber will prompt and highlight desired PriceNumber and click on "Select Price Number"

    


  • A fromViewList will prompt and highlight the Store or select the drop-down list to select the Store then click on "Select Store" button

    

    



Print Labels Based on all Price Modes

  • After selecting the desired report, the system will calculate the Price based on the Price Mode and show the Price on the Label Report
  • For Example
    • Price set PriceMode =  LastCostPlus and value 50
    • If the cost is $1 the price at the till sells for $1.50
    • When printing a label, it will print $1.50 and not $50
