Prerequisites

  • Minimum Bepoz version of v4.7.2.9 and onwards
  • To access Till Function Settings, the applicable Operator privileges will need to be enabled
    • Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab
      • System Setup: "Access Venue, Stores & Tills" flag
      • System Setup: "Maintain Till Function Maps" flag

About

The till function buttons, configured within Backoffice offer seamless execution of various front of house functions related to LMG Loyalty. 

These functions include actions such as customer enquiries, voucher handling and redemption of LMG Loyalty points. 

Till Function Button(s) Setup

  • To set up the Till Function buttons for LMG Loyalty, navigate to the Till Function Maps option under System Setup in the BackOffice side Menu bar
  • This will open the Till Function Override Setup tab; select the desired Function Map from the available list of Function Maps and click on Edit Highlighted Function Map
    • Note: If there are no Function Maps, please click o   Adding a Till Function Map  button to add a new Function Map
  • This will open the Function Map tab which will display the Function Map menu as it would appear SmartPOS

Customer Enquiry

To effectively enquire about a loyalty customer using their provided card number, a function button must be configured

Here's how you can configure it: 

  • Access Function Panel Configuration 
    • Navigate to the desired space for the new button
  • Configure Button Settings
    • Button Text: Enter the text that will be displayed on the function button
    • Function: Select 'Custom Function' from the drop-down menu 
    • Sub-Function: Choose 'Till Extension Function'
    • Item: Enter '0' in the item field
    • Sub Item: Set Subitem as '0' and
  • Save configuration

By following these steps, you have successfully created a Customer Enquiry Till Function Button

Customer Search

Operators frequently need to locate a specific loyalty customer for use in a sale, to facilitate this we should configure the search function:

Here's how you can configure it: 

  • Access Function Panel Configuration 
    • Navigate to the desired space for the new button
  • Configure Button Settings
    • Button Text: Enter the text that will be displayed on the function button
    • Function: Select 'Custom Function' from the drop-down menu 
    • Sub-Function: Choose 'Till Extension Function'
    • Item: Enter '1' in the item field
    • Sub Item: Set Subitem as '0' and
  • Save configuration

By following these steps, you have successfully created a Customer Search Till Function Button

Create New Customer 

Operators will need the ability to create a new loyalty customer from the POS, we will use the create customer function button. 

Here's how you can configure it:

  • Access Function Panel Configuration 
    • Navigate to the desired space for the new button
  • Configure Button Settings
    • Button Text: Enter the text that will be displayed on the function button
    • Function: Select 'Custom Function' from the drop-down menu 
    • Sub-Function: Choose 'Till Extension Function'
    • Item: Enter '2' in the item field
    • Sub Item: Set Subitem as '0' and
  • Save configuration

By following these steps, you have successfully created a Create New Customer Till Function Button

Update Loyalty Customer

To ensure accurate and up-to-date customer details with LMG, operators often need to update customer information from the POS. We will use the Update Customer function for this.

Here's how you can configure it:

  • Access Function Panel Configuration 
    • Navigate to the desired space for the new button
  • Configure Button Settings
    • Button Text: Enter the text that will be displayed on the function button
    • Function: Select 'Custom Function' from the drop-down menu 
    • Sub-Function: Choose 'Till Extension Function'
    • Item: Enter '3' in the item field
    • Sub Item: Set Subitem as '0' and
  • Save configuration

By following these steps, you have successfully created an Update Customer Details Till Function Button

Redeem Points

To streamline the process of redeeming loyalty points for a LMG customer, we must configure a redeem function button. 

Here's how you can configure it: 

  • Access Function Panel Configuration 
    • Navigate to the desired space for the new button
  • Configure Button Settings
    • Button Text: Enter the text that will be displayed on the function button
    • Function: Select 'Custom Function' from the drop-down menu 
    • Sub-Function: Choose 'Till Extension Function'
    • Item: Enter '4' in the item field
    • Sub Item: Set Subitem as '0' and
  • Save configuration

By following these steps, you have successfully created a Redeem Points Till Function Button

Voucher Enquiry

For effective management of LMG Loyalty vouchers, operators often need to enquire about a specific voucher. 

Here's how we can configure it: 

  • Access Function Panel Configuration 
    • Navigate to the desired space for the new button
  • Configure Button Settings
    • Button Text: Enter the text that will be displayed on the function button
    • Function: Select 'Custom Function' from the drop-down menu 
    • Sub-Function: Choose 'Till Extension Function'
    • Item: Enter '5' in the item field
    • Sub Item: Set Subitem as '0' and
  • Save configuration

Redeem Voucher

Operators will often need to redeem LMG Loyalty vouchers, so simplify this process we should have a dedicated button.

Here's how we can configure it: 

  • Access Function Panel Configuration 
    • Navigate to the desired space for the new button
  • Configure Button Settings
    • Button Text: Enter the text that will be displayed on the function button
    • Function: Select 'Custom Function' from the drop-down menu 
    • Sub-Function: Choose 'Till Extension Function'
    • Item: Enter '6' in the item field
    • Sub Item: Set Subitem as '0' and
  • Save configuration

Create Voucher

Recharge Voucher

Operators occasionally need to recharge vouchers for loyalty customers. To facilitate this process, a dedicated till function button must be set up. 

Here's how you can configure it: 

  • Access Function Panel Configuration 
    • Navigate to the desired space for the new button
  • Configure Button Settings
    • Button Text: Enter the text that will be displayed on the function button
    • Function: Select 'Custom Function' from the drop-down menu 
    • Sub-Function: Choose 'Till Extension Function'
    • Item: Enter '7' in the item field
    • SubItem: Set Subitem as '0' and
  • Save configuration

By following these steps, you have successfully created a Recharge Voucher Till Function Button

Account Offers

Operators can view the offers available when the LMG member card is scanned. To view this, a dedicated till function button is configured. 

Here's how we can configure it: 

  • Access Function Panel Configuration 
    • Navigate to the desired space for the new button
  • Configure Button Settings
    • Button Text: Enter the text that will be displayed on the function button
    • Function: Select 'Tables & Accounts' from the drop-down menu 
    • Sub-Function: Choose 'Account Offers Till Extension'
    • Item: Enter '0' in the item field
    • Sub Item: Set Subitem as '0' and
  • Save the configuration

By following these steps, you have successfully created a All Offers Till Function Button
