5 | "Manual Barcode Entry" & "Price Check" Functions

This article covers an overview of the "Manual Barcode Entry" and the "Price Check" Till Functions and how they are used within SmartPOS. The "Manual Barcode Entry" Till Function will allow an Operator to add a Product to a Transaction by Manually entering the Product's Barcode number. The "Price Check" Till Function allows an Operator to check the Price of a Product without adding the Product to a Transaction.

This article covers an overview of the "Manual Barcode Entry" and the "Price Check" Till Functions and how they are used within SmartPOS.

The "Manual Barcode Entry" Till Function will allow an Operator to add a Product to a Transaction by Manually entering the Product's Barcode number.

The "Price Check" Till Function allows an Operator to check the Price of a Product without adding the Product to a Transaction.

To access Product and Stock Control Features, the applicable Operator Privileges will need to be enabled

General: "Operate Tills" Flag
General: "Stock Functions at Till" Flag
Additional privilege flags may need to be enabled if a particular Till Function is configured to require a "Till Button Privilege" which are numbered 1-7

Tapping on the Manual Barcode Entry function button will open a window displaying a number pad allowing the Operator to enter a Barcode Number or a portion of the Barcode Number

Due to customization capabilities in Bepoz, this Function button may be located elsewhere and/or may be labeled differently

If multiple Products match the number that has been entered, all matching Products will be displayed

After selecting a Product, if the desired Product has multiple Sizes, the Operator will be prompted to select a Size
The Product will then be added to the current Transaction

After tapping on the Price Check function button, a Stock Price Check window will open

Due to customization capabilities in Bepoz, this Function button may be located elsewhere and/or may be labeled differently

Operators will need to tap on the Search Product button on the bottom right; this will open a Select Product window
Operators can then conduct a List Search by navigating through the Group and Name Lists, or alternatively, Search by Name or by an associated Product Number

Once a Product has been selected, the Pricing information for each Size will display in the Stock Price Check window along with other Product information
