      6 | Manufacture Product via SmartPOS

      This article is a how-to guide on "Manufacturing" Products using SmartPOS. When stock is Manufactured, the Ingredient's Stock will be deducted at the time of Manufacture - not when the product is sold. When the Manufacture Function is utilized, the Stock On Hand of the Manufactured Product's ingredient Products will be reduced. The QOH for the Manufactured Product will also increase; this Product can then be sold, used as an ingredient or stock can be taken for the Manufactured Products.

      When stock is Manufactured, the Ingredient's Stock will be deducted at the time of Manufacture - not when the product is sold. When the Manufacture Function is utilized, the Stock On Hand of the Manufactured Product's ingredient Products will be reduced.

      The QOH for the Manufactured Product will also increase; this Product can then be sold, used as an ingredient or stock can be taken for the Manufactured Products.

      Prerequisites 

      • To access the "Manufacture" Till Function, the applicable Operator Privileges   will need to be enabled 
        • Operator Maintenance 'Till Privileges' Tab
          • General: "Operate Tills" Flag
          • General: "Stock Functions at Till" Flag
          • An additional privilege flag may need to be enabled if this particular Till Function is configured to require a "Till Button Privilege" which are numbered 1-7

      How-To Guide

      • To use the "Manufacture" function, an Operator will first need to select the Quantity and the Product to Manufacture
      • After tapping the Manufacture function button, a prompt will appear for the Operator to confirm the Stock Manufacture operation
        • Due to customization capabilities in Bepoz, this Function button may be located elsewhere and/or may be labeled differently


       

      • After tapping Yes, a window will appear displaying an alphanumeric keyboard allowing the Operator to enter a Description of the Manufacture
      • Confirmation of the Manufacture will temporarily display in the Transaction Window and a receipt will be printed from any designated Receipt Printer; the Receipt has a Signature Field and acts as confirmation of the Manufacture process
