About

    • Max Gaming is one of the many External Systems that Bepoz can integrate with via our native CALink application
    • While CALink as a whole offers a variety of supported functionality, there are some differences between the different systems; features that are supported for Max Gaming include the following:
      • Importing Account data with options the update and/or create matching Account records in the local database
      • Tiering (Account Group Creation)
      • Points Earn & Redeem
      • "Card-In" (Search Account via EGM #)
      • File-Based Account Imports
      • API-Based Account Imports
      • CALink Vouchers
      • POS Data Sent to Gaming System
      • Cash/Comp Wallet
      • Multiple Points Buckets
    • The Max Gaming CALink Gaming Interface requires setup in BackOffice and configuration within the CALink application to communicate with the gaming system

    Prerequisites

    • For an Operator to be able to setup this interface, the following privileges must be enabled 
      • Main Tab (General Settings) - Venue Maintenance
        • All "System Setup" Flags

      Key Features

      CALink Setup

      • The CALink setup must be completed in order to connect to the Max Gaming System so that Operators can retrieve the account/customer details including points totals via SmartPOS
        • Points can then be earned and redeemed via SmartPOS when the Account is active in a transaction
      • To use the Multiple Points Bucket feature, the PointType Setup is also required to be configured within the CALink settings

      BackOffice Setup

      • Easily configure both CALink #1 for Gaming Points Link and CALink #2 for Account Charge Link within Venue Maintenance by providing the details to connect to CALink which in turn connects to the Max Gaming System 
      • Create a Points Profile to determine the rate that Points will be redeemed at the Global-level per Product Sort or Type
      • Setup the Points Redeem Percentage within Store Maintenance
      • Within Till Maintenance, enable the CALink flag under the Till Flags section so that Operators can use this feature at SmartPOS
        • Also within Till Maintenance, set the Earned Points Profile and Default Redeem Profile (v4.7+)
      • For Multiple Points Bucket functionality, two till function buttons are required to be configured:
        • CALink Voucher
        • Redeem Points for CashValue
