Maximum Allowed Renewals Explained

Purpose

This article will explain the logic and working environment for the "Maximum Allowed" option that can be found within Renewals Setup and highlighted below

Step-by-step guide

In basic terms this function allows an organisation to limit the number of renewals that can be sold to a member in advance of there membership expiry i.e. if either a standard renewal or early renewal are set then you may want to limit the qty that can be purchased for example if it is a daily membership you may only be able to purchase 7 days at a time, in this case 7 would be the "Maximum Allowed"

This functionality does NOT limit the total qty of memberships that can be purchased within a lifetime of a member only the qty in advance
