me&u Order Validation Failed

Overview

Problem

  • me&u or customer reports an error "Order Validation Failed"


Solution

Order Validation usually fails when the integration has stopped working. This is a result of the communications channel between Bepoz and me&u is closed for any reason. The key is to look for API connectivity as below:

  • Check that the port used for communications is still open

    • Open any browser on the server / site controller

    • Access any online port checker, such as Canyouseeme.org

    • Check the public IP Address can compare it to the address noted on the Configuration on the customer record in CRM. Has the Public IP Address changed?

    • Check port 9163, or whatever is recorded in the Configuration against the customer record. Is it open?

    • If either the public IP has changed, or the port is now closed, send an email to me&u Help Desk. Be sure to copy the customer and their IT supplier

  • Check API key and the job on smart controller. Is it correct?
