      SmartPDE

      Overview

      • Place SmartPDE into the cradle

      • Click the No button when the Partnership option appears

      • Click the Next button

      The Active Sync screen will appear on the Screen

      • Click the Explore button

      • Double Click on the Storage folder

      • Double Click on the System folder

      • Copy the BEpoz folder and Startup.txt file located on the BEpoz Support Disk > BEpoz Setup Files > Metrologic into the Storage > System folder

      • Hard reset the device. (To hard reset, press the reset button located behind the unit in with the stylus for 10 seconds or until the screen turns black. Then release and press the reset button in then out in a fast movement.)

      Connecting Metrologic Optimus PDA to a wireless network

      • This uses the standard Microsoft CE 5.0 wireless configuration program. Please refer to Microsoft’s website for details on connecting to a wireless network on a Microsoft CE 5.0 device
