      8 | My Devices Tab Overview

      This article covers the "My Devices" Tab of the Bepoz Diagnostics Dashboard. The tab can be used to monitor all the devices connected to the till and troubleshoot any problems with the devices. This tab also allows Operators to set up drawers for the Tills and update and/or edit the connected devices.

      Field

      Description
      Drawer
      • 'Drawer' will display the till draw types that are connected to the till
      • Operators can add up to two drawers i.e. Drawer 1 and Drawer 2
        • Change will change the Draw Type

                 

      • Test will perform tests on the draws

      • Workstation ID- Displays the ID of the Workstation that operator is on
      • The Change button will change the Workstation ID
      • Shared Data Dir- Displays the path for the shared directory
      • The Change button will change the path for the shared directory
      • Local data Dir- Displays the path for the local data directory
      • The Change button will change the path for the local data directory
      • Backup Dir- Displays the path for the Backup directory
      • The Change button will change the path for the backup directory
      • Backup Zip Dir- Displays the path for the zip directory

      Till Devices
      • 'Till Devices' is a list of all the devices connected to the Till
      • These devices can either be active or inactive
      Run RS232 Comtest
      • This button will start the 'RS232 Comtest' Program

               
      Run TCPIP Comtest
      • This button will start the 'TCPIP Comtest' program

              
      Edit Settings
      • This button allows editing the device settings by opening the 'Change Comport Setup' window

              
      Always on Top
      • This flag will always display the Diagnostics screen on the top of any other windows displayed
      On-Screen Keyboard
      • Selecting the 'On-Screen Keyboard' button will display the on-screen keyboard
      Run Database
      • Selecting the 'Run Database' button will execute the Database.exe program
      Refresh Data from SmartController
      • Selecting the 'Refresh Data From SmartController' will attempt to retrieve all global data
      Close
      • Selecting 'Close' will close the diagnostic screen
