      7 | My Printers Tab Overview

      This article covers the "My Printers" tab of the Bepoz Diagnostics Dashboard. This tab will display a list of all the local printers that are installed in the system and allows for testing their status. In order to populate a printer list in Bepoz Diagnostics, Smart Printers needs to be active.

      This article covers the "My Printers" tab of the Bepoz Diagnostics Dashboard. This tab will display a list of all the local printers that are installed in the system and allows for testing their status. In order to populate a printer list in Bepoz Diagnostics, Smart Printers needs to be active.

      Field

      Description
      Local SmartPrint
      • 'Local SmartPrint' is a status description for the local SmartPrint for the till
      • The 'Start' button located next to the status description will start the SmartPrint program if it is not already running
      • The 'View Log' button will display the log file or SmartPrint
      Till Printers
      • Till Printers Window will populate a list of local printer for the till along with other information

       

      • ID - Displays the Printer ID
      • Printer Name - Display the Printer Name
      • Workstation - Displays the workstation the printer is connected to
      • IP Address - Displays the IP Address of the till
      • FallBack to -  Displays the FallBack IP address for the Printer
      • Redirect to - Displays the address the printer command will redirect to 
      • Ping - If this is ticked on, Ping is sent to the address
      • Test Results - Shows the results after the printer has been tested
      • Printer Model - Displays the model of the Printer
      Test All printers
      • When a list is populated in the Till Printers screen, they can be tested by clicking this button
      • After selecting 'Test All Printers' button, the system will perform a test on all printers and print out a Bepoz Diagnostics Report
      Test One Printer
      • This button allows testing a single printer from the printer list and get a Bepoz Diagnostic Report for that printer
      Retrieve Status
      • 'Retrieve Status' will display the current status of the printer selected
      Select New Printer
      • 'Select New Printer' allows the operator to select  a printer to print receipts to
      Modify Printer
      • 'Modify Printer' will allow the operator to modify the selected printer settings
      • When this button is clicked, it will display a Change Comport Setup from where Printers can be modified

              
      Always on Top
      • This flag will always display the Diagnostics screen on the top of any other windows displayed
      On-Screen Keyboard
      • Selecting the 'On-Screen Keyboard' button will display the on-screen keyboard
      Run Database
      • Selecting the 'Run Database' button will execute the Database.exe program
      Refresh Data from SmartController
      • Selecting the 'Refresh Data From SmartController' will attempt to retrieve all global data
      Close
      • Selecting 'Close' will close the diagnostic screen
