About

    • The MyEG interface is designed exclusively for Venues configured with Country of either "Malaysia" or "Malaysia GST"
    • Our interface with MyEG is a simple data-send interface which is used to send transaction data to MyEG for tax purposes
    • This interface requires setup Transaction Queue and Till Extension Devices to be added and configured


    Prerequisites

    • Minimum Bepoz version of 4.6 is required for this functionality
    • To access Devices & Interfaces, the following Operator Privileges will need to be enabled: 
      • Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab
        • System Setup: "Access Venue, Stores & Tills" Flag
        • System Setup: "Maintain Venue Stores & Tills" Flag
    • To access MyEG Features in SmartPOS, the following Operator Privileges will need to be enabled: 
      • Operator Maintenance 'Till Privileges' Tab
        • General: "Operate Tills" Flag

    Key Features

    BackOffice Setup

    • Quick and easy configuration in BackOffice where the following Devices will need to be added:
      • "MyEG Malaysia" Transaction Queue
        • Will require credentials and information from MyEG
        • Connection can be tested from the Device window
      • "Malaysian MyEG" Till Extension

    SmartPOS Functionality

    • After processing a transaction, data is saved and sent to MyEG for tax purposes
      • This data can be found in the Bepoz Data Directory in a text file named MyEG_DataSend.txt
    • If the connection with MyEG Server is successful, MyEG will return a Reference Number which will be saved locally and can be found in the Bepoz Data Directory in a text file named MyEG_DataResponse.txt
    • The Reference Number which is returned from MyEG will also be printed at the bottom of the customer receipt, just above the footer
