New Functionality

Integration with Bepoz Product Promotions:

• Sync Promotions: Both price and multibuy promotions are now synced to the MyPlace Backpanel, similar to voucher setups.
• Customization Options: Admins can customize images, text descriptions, and tags for each promotion, optimizing their appearance in the mobile app.
• Promo Display: The app now features a Promo card with customizable graphics and text. Users can view a list of promos for their selected venue, filtered by active promos or all promos.
• User Interaction: Users can tap on promos to see full details and like them. Future updates will use these likes to create tailored promotions and content.
• Feature Control: This feature is controlled via a feature flag within the MyPlace CRM, allowing a controlled rollout. Interested clients can reach out for onboarding.

Renaming Stamp Cards:

• Stamp Cards are now called “Bepoz Prize Promos” to better reflect their functionality and upcoming enhancements.

Google reCAPTCHA v3 Integration:

• Enhanced Security: This update helps prevent bots from attacking our app and generating false members, differing from v2 by offering a more seamless user experience without the need for user interaction.

Defects Resolved

Member Receiving Legacy Notifications:

• Problem: Members were receiving multiple notifications linked to expired or used vouchers.
• Solution: Updated the cron job to use a new stored procedure that returns only active vouchers, thanks to our move to AWS Aurora earlier this year.

Custom Text Fields Not Updating:

• Problem: Custom text fields couldn't be edited via the app despite being set to editable.
• Solution: The backend now dynamically reads all signup field settings and saves all data sent from the app, ensuring no fields are missed during updates.

'Scanned' Figure for Vouchers Always Zero:

• Problem: The Dashboard showed a ‘scanned’ result of zero for all vouchers.
• Solution: Removed the Scanned label and QTY from the BackPanel UI as this functionality was never implemented and is not a current priority.

Location Limit Controls in MyPlace CRM:

• We've rolled out location limit controls. The max allowed locations now match the currently active configurations. Users must be in the "MyPlace | CRM | Admin and Finance" AAD Security Group to increase the number of allowed locations, ensuring correct functionality and billing.

Feature Flag Control for Bepoz Product Promotions:

• Remember to reach out to the product team if you have clients interested in becoming early adopters of this feature.

Looking Forward

We plan to finish this fiscal year strong with two more releases before July 1. Highlights include:

• Mobile Wallet Improvements: Bespoke iOS and Android card customization.
• Notification UI Enhancements: New UI allowing members to read past messages and enhanced push support, including images.
• Backpanel UX Improvements: Addressing minor issues to improve admin experience.
