A voucher must be created in bepoz and issued to a membership account. The concept of “creating” a voucher in the back panel is to change the name to something more customer friendly which is often not the case in bepoz and to give the voucher an image and longer description. without a voucher”created” in the back panel the voucher will still display in the app, with the bepoz description and the generic venue image in the back panel.

Creating a voucher can be done 2 ways, either creating a voucher from scratch or duplicating a current voucher and changing the details. Duplicating voucher will clone the original image, settings and voucher name that will include “copy”

Vouchers created in 3 different functionalities.

1. Gift Certificate - A voucher used for a gift certificate can only be purchsed using cash (stripe)

Free voucher -

these voucher are free and are awarded as part of an offer or promotion, including but not limited to birthday vouchers, free products and stamp card rewards.

Points voucher

Vouchers can also be created with a points price which is designed to help to reduce poinst liability. eg 100 points for a pot

It is possible to send a notification when the voucher is issued. This can be via a system notification and a push notification. The text in the notification can be set to defult or editied for specific content. You can also specify the tier or tiers to recieve the notification.
