13 | Operator Maintenance 'Custom Info' Tab

"Custom Info" Tabs and Custom Fields can be found throughout BackOffice; this article focuses on Operator "Custom Info" which can be edited for a variety of purposes and uses including Reporting.

Prerequisite
  • To access Custom Fields throughout BackOffice, an Operator will need the privilege flag/s enabled corresponding to each components' Custom Info
    • To access the Custom Info Tab, an Operator must have the View Operator Custom Info flag enabled within Operator Maintenance
  • These privilege flags can found within Operator Maintenance, on the Maintenance Tab and the Marketing & Promotions Tab

 


Editing Custom Fields

  • The Custom Info tab contains Optional Fields which can be Edited to suit needs and/or preferences of the Organization
  • Begin by clicking on the Edit Custom Fields button in the bottom right corner which will open a Custom Fields window

  • Click on the Name fields to Enter the desired text

Types of Custom Fields

  Custom Field Type

  Description

Flag Fields
  • Create up to ten (10) Custom Flags to add
  • These can be used for marking flags for any relevant information
    • One example could be to track Operator qualifications
  • Once created, these can be Edited or Removed
Number Fields
  • Create up to five (5) Number Fields to add
  • These can be used for any relevant information
    • One example could be to enter the Operator's preferred hours per week
  • These fields would be optional to complete for each Operator
Date Fields
  • Create up to five (5) Date Fields to add
  • These can be used for tracking any Dates which may be relevant
    • One example could be the Operator's next training date
  • These fields would be optional to complete for each Operator
Text Fields
  • Create up to twenty (20) Text Fields to add
  • These can be used for tracking many types of information which may be relevant
    • This is a two-part field including the Name of the field and any Values to be added
    • Double-click in the Values box to add Multiple Entries
  • These fields would be optional to complete for each Operator
