5 | Operator Maintenance 'Details & Address' Tab

This article covers the Operator Maintenance "Details and Address" tab and its configuration options. The Details Address tab is relatively straightforward - it contains mostly contact information for the Operator. This tab also contains some other Operator details such as Export Codes, Linked File, and Image.

Configuration Options Explained

 

 

Configuration Option

Description

Pager Number
  • If Paging is configured in the Organization's system, this will be the pager number for the Operator
  • This is not a required field
'Do Not Email Me' flag
  • Enabling this flag will stop the Operator from receiving bulk emails
    • This is often used temporarily while an Operator is on holiday or leave
'Do Not SMS Me' flag
  • Enabling this flag will stop the Operator from receiving bulk SMS messages
    • This is often used temporarily while an Operator is on holiday or leave
Home Phone
  • This is not a required field but can be used to keep the Operator's home telephone number on record
Mobile
  • This is not a required field but can be used to keep the Operator's mobile telephone number on record
  • This is required to take advantage of contact options using Messaging and Memos
Work Phone
  • This is not a required field but can be used to keep the Operator's work telephone number on record
Fax
  • This is not a required field but can be used to keep the Operator's fax number on record
Email1
  • This is not a required field, however, it is required to take advantage of contact options using Messaging and Memos
Email2
  • This is not a required field but can be used to keep a 2nd email address on record for the Operator
Facebook
  • This is not a required field but can be used to keep the Operator's Facebook link on record
Street Address
  • These fields are not a required field but can be used to keep the Operator's street address on record
Gender
  • This can be left as "Not Set" or set to "Male" or "Female"
Birth Date
  • This is not a required field but can be used to keep the Operator's date of birth on record
Export Codes
  • These can be user-defined fields that hold text data and allow fast filtering of information
  • When used for an Operator, they can record information such as years of employment, etc.
  • The actual names of these fields can be changed
  • This information may be used when exporting to another system
Dashboard
  • You can set what Dashboard, if any, is displayed when this Operator logs in to BackOffice
Comment
  • This is an optional open text field that allows miscellaneous notes about the Operator to be entered
Linked File
  • This could be used to link an important document to an Operators such as an employee details form
  • Clicking on the Linked File button will allow for browsing the file directory to locate the desired document
  • Once the file is linked its will appear next to the Linked File button
  • To delete the linked file click on the Linked File button again and delete the file path from the File Name field at the bottom of the pop-up window
    • A prompt will appear: "Do you wish to clear the linked file name?"; select yes to delete the link
  • This is not a required field

Images

  • Click this button to attach a reference image to an Operator's record
    • A page will open where all Images are stored in Bepoz
    • Alternatively, a new image can be captured using an attached, compatible webcam
