Prerequisites
  • To access and edit Operators, the applicable Operator Privileges will need to be enabled:
    • Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab
      • All "Operator" Flags

Configuration Options Explained

  • To enable or disable all of the flags within a section with one click, simply click on the flag next to the section heading; i.e., to enable all of the Sales Reports flags at once - enable the flag next to 'Sales Reports'

SALES

REPORTS

Allow Cash Reports
  • If this flag is enabled, the Operator will have the ability to Display and Print Reports which are classified as Cash Reports
    • These include Till Balance Reports, Till Summaries, and Operator Summaries
Allow Product Reports
  • If this flag is enabled, the Operator will have the ability to Display and Print Reports which are classified as Product Reports
    • These include Product Summaries, Transaction Journal, and Custom Reports
Allow Accounts Reports
  • If this flag is enabled, the Operator will have the ability to Display and Print Reports which are classified as Accounts Reports
    • These include Account Summaries and Account Statements

Allow Transaction Reports

  • If this flag is enabled, the Operator will have the ability to Display and Print Reports which are classified as Transaction Reports
Allow Stock Reports
  • If this flag is enabled, the Operator will have the ability to Display and Print Reports which are classified as Stock Reports
    • These include Stock Journal, Stock On Hand, and Stock Purchases
Allow Marketing Reports
  • If this flag is enabled, the Operator will have access to Marketing Reports in BackOffice

REPORTS

Allow Audit Reports
  • If this flag is enabled, the Operator will have access to Display and Print Audit Reports in BackOffice
Allow Table Reports
  • If this flag is enabled, the Operator will have access to Display and Print Table Reports in BackOffice
Allow Custom Reports
  • If this flag is enabled, the Operator will have access to Display and Print Custom Reports in BackOffice
Allow Analysis Reports
  • If this flag is enabled, the Operator will have access to Display and Print Analysis Reports in BackOffice
Allow Billing Reports
  • If this flag is enabled, the Operator will have access to Display and Print Billing and Scheduled Billing Reports in BackOffice
Maintain Saved Reports
  • If this flag is enabled, the Operator will be able to access and edit Saved Reports
Allow Handle All Audit Alerts
  • If this flag is enabled, the Operator will be able to handle all Alerts in Audit Reports 

GLOBAL

REPORTS

Show Global Reports
  • If this flag is enabled, when the Operator is logged in to BackOffice, the Global Reports Selector will display at the top of the Menu Column

  • Also, WebReports will show the Global and Global Hidden Reports to the Operator
Save Global Reports
  • If this flag is enabled, the Operator will have the ability to Save New Global Reports and Access to Existing Global Reports

Add Views
  • If this flag is enabled, the Operator will have access to Add and Copy Views throughout BackOffice

Edit Views

  • If this flag is enabled, the Operator will have the ability to Edit Existing Views throughout BackOffice

Delete Views

  • If this flag is enabled, the Operator will have the ability to Delete and Rename Views throughout BackOffice

View Formulas

  • If this flag is enabled, the Operator will have capabilities to Create and Edit Formula Columns in Views throughout BackOffice
Show All Views in Edit List
  • If this flag is enabled, the Operator will see all of the available Views in the View Edit List Window (not the View Drop-Down)
  • Any of these Views can then be used by double-clicking or highlighting the View and clicking the Select View button

Maintain My Views Only
  • If this flag is enabled, the Operator will only have capabilities to Add, Edit, and Delete Views that are set for the Operator or for the Operator's Immediate Parent Group
New View Default Owner Drop-Down
  • This setting can limit the Operator to only have access to the Product Setting Screen in BackOffice and within SmartPOS to Products under the Selected Group
    • This will not stop the Operator from selling other Products; use Prerequisites for that function
