- Minimum Bepoz version of 4.7 and onwards
- To setup Product Level Blocking features within BackOffice, the applicable Operator Privileges will need to be enabled

- System Setup: "Access Venue, Stores & Tills" Flag
- System Setup: "Maintain Venue, Stores & Tills" Flag

How To Setup Product Level Blocking
Product Maintenance
- Go to the Maintenance tab from the side menu and select 'Product'
- Select the desired Product Group and then select the desired Product which the Operator wants to define as a restricted product
- Once the Product Maintenance window is opened, head to the Custom Info tab, within the Custom Flags field, set one flag as 'PLB' as an identifier for using the Product Level Blocking feature
- Note: Ensure this is the same custom field selected within the Store Maintenance as the identifier for PLB
- Turn this flag on for all the restricted products within the Operators database
Store Maintenance
- The Operator needs to login into BackOffice
- Go to the System Setup tab from the side menu and select 'Venue, Stores & Till'
- Select the desired Store where Product Level Blocking needs to be enforced and enter the Store Maintenance screen by double-clicking on the desired Store
- From the General Tab, on the bottom left corner of the screen, the Operator can view the Product Level Blocking settings and its details are as follows:
- Custom Field: This drop-down allows the Operator to select a Custom Flag field or a Custom Text Field to choose as the identifier of restricted items
- Enforce Blocking: This flag enforces Product Level Blocking
- Allow Manager Override: This flag allows the Operator to enter a Managers Login incase they want to Override the Sale and allow sale of restricted items
Venue Maintenance
- Go to the System Setup tab from the side menu and select 'Venue, Stores & Till'
- Select the desired Venue where Product Level Blocking needs to be enforced and enter the Venue Maintenance screen by double-clicking on the desired Venue
- Within the Venue Maintenance window, go to the Tables tab and within the Table Groups, scroll all the way to the right to view the 'PLB Helper' column
- When this flag is enabled, the PLB helper dialog box is displayed on the SmartPOS which guides the Operator through the sale incase a CDC (Cashless Debit Card) is used for payment
