This article covers an overview of the Product List Tab in BackOffice which displays all the Products in the System and allows for creating new ones.

This article covers an overview of the Product List Tab in BackOffice which displays all the Products in the System and allows for creating new ones.

Operators who have access to the Product List Tab will be able to also manage all Products such as: Creating New Products, Editing Exiting Products, and Allocating Products to Suppliers

Prerequisites 
  • To access the Product List Tab, the following Operator Privileges need to be enabled: 
    • Operator Maintenance 'Maintenance' Tab
      • Products: "View Products" Flag 
      • Products: "Edit Products" Flag

Feature/Function

Description & Information

Exit Product List
  • Exits out of Product List
  • Returns to other opened List or to Bepoz welcome screen
Print List
  • Prints current Product List in View
Export List
  • Enables you to export the current Product List in View to a variety of Formats
Save Report
  • Saves current Product List in View as a Report


  • Can be found in My Saved Reports


  • Can also be found in Other Reports; under Saved Reports

                

Hide Headers
  • Hides Header information from view


Product Search
  • Opens a Product Search window
  • Enables you to search Product List based on a number of parameters
Add New Product
  • Opens a window enabling you to Add a New Product by selecting an existing Product from your Product List

    1. Expand/Select the Base Product Group and any additional Product Groups from which you wish to select a Product to be copied
    2. Once the Product Group has been selected, the Products within that Group will appear to the right; Select the Product to be copied
    3. Click on the Select Product button to copy the selected Product; alternatively, you may double-click the Product to be copied
Edit Product
  • Opens the Edit Product window for the Product currently selected in the Product List
Add New Group
  • Adds a New Group under the Currently Selected (Parent) Group


  • Alternatively, if you are not currently active in the Product Group Full Tree, a window will open requesting you to select which Parent Group you would like to add the New Group under

    • To select a Parent Group, either double-click on the Product Group or click the Select Product Group button
Venue
  • Select which Venue you would like to edit Products for

    • Only the selected Venue's Stores will then be available for selection
Only Venue Products
  • Enabling this flag will only show Products which are currently in at least one Store within the selected Venue
Store
  • Select which Store in which you would like to add or edit Products
Full Tree
  • Enabling Full Tree will display all Parent Groups and Product Groups
  • All of the Products for the selected Product Group will display in the window
List Only
  • Enabling List Only will display Product Groups in a straight list, as opposed to being branched out from Parent Group

    • Parent Groups are ordered alphabetically in List Only view

  • All of the Products for the selected Product Group will display in the window
Hide List
  • Enabling Hide List will no longer display Groups at all
  • All Products will be displayed
Views
  • This will allow you to change which Product information you are viewing
  • There are a number of Default Views to select from
    • Additional Views can be created to suit your needs by clicking on the Views Icon

     

Filter
  • Use this to set criteria for a list of Products to narrow down viewable options for the selected parameter
Sub Products
  • Enabling this flag will show all of the Products within a Parent Group when that Group is selected
Inactive
  • Enabling this flag will show Inactive Products in the Product List View
    • Disabling this flag will hide all Inactive Products
Edit Mode Icon
  • Clicking the Edit Mode Icon will allow you to edit select Product information in the Product List window
    • This allows you to quickly make edits to a Product without opening the Edit Product window
    • This can also be a time-saving option to make edits to multiple Products' information at one time
  • Once Edit Mode is enabled, an X Icon will replace the Edit Mode Icon, you will need to click the X Icon to Exit Edit Mode
