This article outlines Product Profile KeyList examples in SmartPOS. Continuing from the Adding Product Profiles to KeyMaps Article, this article will demonstrate how KeyLists are utilised within SmartPOS. In addition, by creating a View within the Product List to include all of the Custom Fields, Products can easily be edited for qualifying to a Product Profile.

Continuing from the  Adding Product Profiles to KeyMaps  Article, this article will demonstrate how KeyLists are utilised within SmartPOS.

In addition, by creating a  View  within the Product List to include all of the Custom Fields, Products can easily be edited for qualifying to a Product Profile.

Prerequisites 

• In order to Add a Product Profile to a  KeyMap , the Maintain Auto  Keylists  Flag is the Product Profile Setup must be enabled

SmartPOS Example 

• The following will demonstrate how this Product Profile will display as a KeyList at a SmartPOS Workstation
  
• After selecting the Key for the Product Profile KeyList, the Products which qualify to the Product Profile will display for selection

• It will take minimum maintenance for this KeyList to be updated and it will change dynamically based on the parameters selected
• 
  

• Using this View and placing the Product List into Edit Mode, the Custom Fields can easily be maintained
• By returning to the Product Profile Setup, and changing the parameters, the qualifying Products will dynamically change within the Keylist, therefore at the SmartPOS Workstation/s
• For example, the parameters can be changed to Product Mode of Normal Product, Product Type of Pack. Beer & Cider, and Phasing Out flag enabled

• After clicking the Re-create KeyList Button in the Header Section of the Product Profiles Tab, SmartPOS will only display the Products which meet these new Parameters
