      9 | "Product Promo" Voucher Type

      Learn how to covers the "Product Promo" Voucher Type and the Voucher-specific details that need to be entered during configuration.       This article covers the "Product Promo" Voucher Type and the Voucher-specific details that need to be entered during configuration.

       

      Voucher Type Summary

      • This Voucher will apply a selected Product Promotion to the current Transaction
      • It can apply discounts and special pricing as defined within the linked Product Promotion
      • Types of applications include:
        • 20% off  any (or all) main courses
        • $1.00 off any beer
        • All soft drinks for free
        • 5 free soft drinks, etc.

      Flags/Fields

      Description
      Multi Apply Voucher
      • If this flag is turned on, the same issued Voucher can be redeemed multiple times within the same transaction & will continue to follow the rules of the configured apply type
        • E.g., if the Apply Type is set to Lowest Price Product Only - when the Voucher is redeemed multiple times in the same transaction, for each redemption it will apply the discount to the lowest priced qualifying product even if that product has already been discounted by the previous voucher redemption

       
      Unlimited Use
      • If this flag is ticked on, the Voucher will be able to be used on repeat visits/transactions indefinitely
      Maximum Discount
      • This sets the maximum discount amount that can be generated from the voucher per use
      • If the field is left at '0.00', the voucher will have no maximum limit
      Qty to Give
      • This sets the number of products that can be discounted using the voucher per transaction
        • E.g., if set to 2, the same issued voucher can be redeemed twice on the same transaction where applicable
      Product Promotion
      • This field will link the Voucher to a Product Promotion
      • Product Promotions can be edited or new ones can be added by clicking on the Edit button and Add button respectively which will open up the Product Promotion Maintenance window
      Apply Type
      • Various “Apply Types” include:
        • Only discount the current highlighted product
        • Only discount the Lowest Priced qualifying product within the product promotion
        • Only discount the first qualifying product within the product promotion
        • Always Discount all qualifying products within the product promotion
        • Discount all qualifying products within the product promotion up to the qty allowed on the voucher
