      23 | Product Summaries Data Explained

      This article covers the default views for the Product Summaries Report and the formulas required to accumulate data for the reports. The Product Summaries Report displays all of the details regarding Product Sales. This type of report allows for viewing profit generated from each Product and compare Product sales of two different reporting periods.

      Prerequisites 
      • To access Product Summaries Data Settings, the applicable Operator Privileges will need to be enabled 
        • Operator Maintenance 'Reporting' Tab
          • Sales Reports: "Allow Product Reports" Flag
      "_Standard" View
      • This is one of the default views for the Product Summaries Report and includes the following data columns by default:

      Column Heading

      Data Description/Formula
      Qty Units Sold
      • This column shows the Total Quantity of Products Sold during the reporting period 
      Nett Total
      • The Nett Total displays the Nett sales earned from the Total Units Sold during the reporting period
      % of Nett Total
      • This column displays the Percentage of Total Sales earned from sales of the product line during the reporting period
      CostEx of Sales
      • This column displays the Total Cost of sold products
      ProfitAmt
      • This column displays the Profit Earned by selling the products during the reporting period
      • I.e., Profit Amount = Nett Total - CostEx of Sales
      Profit%
      • This is the Total Profit Percentage earned from selling the product line
      • Profit% = (Profit Amount / Nett Total) X 100%

       

       

      "_Nett Sales Comparison" View
      • The Nett Sales Comparison View includes the following data columns by default:

      Column Heading

      Data Description
      Nett Total
      • This column displays the Nett Sales during the first reporting period
      Profit Amt
      • This column displays the profit generated from sales during the first reporting period
      Profit%
      • This column displays the profit in percentage during the first reporting period
      2nd Profit Nett Total
      • This column displays the Nett Sales during the  second reporting period
      2nd Period Profit Amt
      • This column displays the profit generated from sales during the second reporting period
      2nd Period Profit%
      • This column displays the profit in percentage during the first reporting period
