      15 | Products by Supplier Data Explained

      Learn how to covers the formulas used to derive the data in the Products by Supplier Report and also sheds light on some of its Report View Options. The Products by Supplier Report basically displays all the Products that have been Ordered, Purchased and Received from various Suppliers. This report allows for tracking the purchase history and required restock quantity for Products.

      The Products by Supplier Report basically displays all the Products that have been Ordered, Purchased and Received from various Suppliers.

      Prerequisites
      • To access Products by Supplier Settings, the applicable Operator Privileges will need to be enabled 
        • Operator Maintenance 'Reporting' Tab
          • Sales Reports: "Allow Stock Reports" Flag
      "_On Hand & Last Sale" View
      • The On Hand & Last Sale View is one of the default Views on the Products by Supplier Report and displays the Products on Hand & the Date/Time the Product was last Sold

       

      Column Heading

      Data Description/Formula
      Item Volume
      • This displays the size or volume of a product
      Qty on Hand
      • This displays the total quantity of product in stock
      CostEx on Hand
      • This displays the cost value of the product on hand
      • E.g., CostEx on Hand = Qty on Hand X Price per Line
      DateTime Last Sale
      • This displays the date and time when the product was last sold

      "_PriceNumber 1" View Formulas
      • The PriceNumber 1 View displays the Normal Prices for different Sizes of Products

       

      Column Heading

      Data Description
      Size 1 Name
      • This column shows the name of the first size of a product
      • E.g., for draft beer, it may be "Pint"
      Normal Size 1
      • This displays the quantity of product considered as Size 1
      Size 2 Name
      • This column shows the name of the second size of a product
      Normal Size 2
      • This displays the quantity of product considered as Size 2
      Size 3 Name
      • This column shows the name of the third size of a product
      Normal Size 3
      • This displays the quantity of product considered as Size 3
      Size 4 Name
      • This column shows the name of the fourth size of a product
      Normal Size 4
      • This displays the quantity of product considered as Size 4

      "_Price Number 2" View Formulas
      • The Price Number 2 View is very similar to the Price Number 1 view, with the key difference being that the data displayed will be for the System's Price Number 2

      Data Description
      Size 1 Name
      • This is the name of the first size of a product such as Pint, Small etc. 
      Price 2 Size 1 
      • This is the alternate price for the Product Size 1
      Size 2 Name
      • This is the name of the second size of a product 
      Price 2 Size 2 
      • This is the alternate price for the Product Size 2
      Size 3 Name
      • This is the name of the third size of a product 
      Price 2 Size 3 
      • This is the alternate price for the Product Size 3
      Size 4 Name
      • This is the name of the fourth size of a product 
      Price 2 Size 4
      • This is the alternate price for the Product Size 4

      "_Price1 GM%" View Formulas
      • This View displays the Gross Margin Rate from a Normal Price or Price 1 of Products

      Data Description/Formula
      Size# Name
      • This is the name of the product size
      CostEx Size # 
      • This is the cost of the particular product size (excluding tax)
      Normal Size# 
      • This is the normal size of the product
      Normal GM% Sz# 
      • This is the normal Gross Margin Percentage for the given size of the product
      • It is calculated as GM% = (Total Sales- CostEx Size)/ Total Sales

      "_Min Max" View Formulas
      • This Report View shows the Minimum and Maximum Quantity to be Stocked for each Product

      Data Description/Formula
      Case Qty
      • This shows the quantity per case of the product
      Qty onHand
      • This displays the total quantity on hand
      • E.g., Opening Stock - Quantity Sold
      ReStock Quantity
      • This displays the quantity restocked for the product
      Minimum Stock
      • This displays the minimum amount to be stocked for a particular product
      Maximum Stock
      • This displays the maximum amount to be stocked for a particular product
