About

  • The Range Servant Interface allows golf balls to be purchased from a SmartPOS Workstation which will Print a Voucher for a Customer

  • The Customer can then scan that Voucher at the Ball Dispenser to receive the golf balls

  • To Issue the Voucher/s

    • Product/s need to be created & added to the relevant Keymap

    • Voucher/s need to be setup & added to corresponding Prize Promotion/s

  • To Redeem the Voucher/s & dispense the golf balls

    • A Transaction Queue Device must be setup in BackOffice to communicate with Range Servant

  • A Golf Ball Product to Sell will need to be created in BackOffice which will later be added to a Prize Promotion

  • This Product will then be added to a KeyMap so that the Product can be sold from SmartPOS to Issue a Voucher to a Customer

    • Each Size of the Product will relate to the quantity of golf balls to be dispensed

    • In this example, there are three (3) Sizes - Small, Medium, and Large - which will each dispense a different Quantity of golf balls

Add Golf Ball Product - Redeem

  • Next, a Golf Ball Product to Redeem will need to be created in BackOffice to be attached to the Vouchers when they're Redeemed

  • Copy the Golf Ball Sell Product so that the Size, Names, and Quantities are the same

    • Disable the Show in Store flag for all Sizes

    • Set all Prices to $0.00

    • Set the Normal Mode to Zero Price

Add Product Key to Keymap

  • After the golf ball Product has been created, it will need to be added to the desired Keymap

  • Either add a separate Key for each Size, or as in this example, choose Select Size which will prompt the Operator to select a size at the SmartPOS Workstation

  • The Golf Ball Buckets can now be sold from a SmartPOS Workstation, but will not yet issue a Voucher

  • After the Device has been configured, the Issued Vouchers will be able to be Redeemed through the Range Servant Dispenser to dispense golf balls

  1. From the Range Servant Dispenser home screen, tap on Barcode

  2. Use the Barcode Scanner to scan the Barcode of the Voucher

  3. If the Barcode is scanned properly, the Range Servant screen will then display the Barcode and the quantity of golf balls to be dispensed

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions & tap the bucket icon

If one of these Voucher Barcodes is Scanned using a Barcode Scanner attached to a SmartPOS Workstation and the Voucher is applied, the Voucher will be marked as Redeemed and will then show as Not Valid through Range Servant since it has already been claimed
