6 | "Recall Transaction List" Till Function
This article outlines the "Recall Transaction List" Till Function and how it is configured in BackOffice. This Till Function will allow an authorised Operator to Recall a List of all Previous Transactions.
This article outlines the "Recall Transaction List" Till Function and how it is configured in BackOffice. This Till Function will allow an authorised Operator to Recall a List of all Previous Transactions.
Prerequisites
- To access Till Function Settings, the applicable Operator Privileges

Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab - System Setup: "Maintain Till Function Maps" Flag
Initial Setup
- Click on the desired Button space and the configure the Button Settings:
- In the Button Text field enter the text that will display on the Till Function Buttons on SmartPOS Workstation screens
- Set the Function drop-down to 'Manager'
- Set the Sub-Function to 'Recall Transaction List'
Function-Specific Configuration Options
- Enter a corresponding number into the Item field where:
- "0" will display Transactions for only the Till being used
- "1" will display Transactions for all Tills in the Venue
- Enter the corresponding number into the Subitem field where:
- "0" will hide the Refund Item Button in the Recall List
- "1" will show the Refund Item Button in the Recall List
SmartPOS Implementation
- Begin by using the configured Till Function to select the desired Transaction to Recall
- Once the Recalled Transaction window is open, select the desired Product to Refund and click on the Refund Item button
Quantities Greater Than 1
- If the Product has a Quantity that is greater than one (1), a Number Entry Window will appear asking for the Quantity to be Refunded
- Once the Quantity to be Refunded has been entered, press OK to return to the Recall Transaction Window
- The Product/s that will be Refunded will then be highlighted in black
- Selecting the Refund Item button again will complete the Refunding process
- Product/s that are Refunded will appear in the Transaction Window highlighted in red and displaying the Quantity and Cash Amount returned
Single Quantities
- Similarly, the Refund Item button can also be used for Products with single quantities
- This is achieved by highlighting the desired Product/s that needs Refunding and then selecting the Refund Item button
- Product/s that are Refunded will appear in the Transaction Window highlighted in red and displaying the Quantity and Cash Amount returned
