7 | Recalling an Account from a Receipt

A receipt that is linked to an Account and has a barcode printed on it, can be scanned using a barcode scanner attached to a SmartPOS Workstation to recall the transaction or the Account only.

A receipt that is linked to an Account and has a barcode printed on it, can be scanned using a barcode scanner attached to a SmartPOS Workstation to recall the transaction or the Account only.

Prerequisites

Scanning the Receipt

  • The receipt will need to be from an Account Transaction
  • Also, the receipt being scanned must, of course, have a barcode




  • After being successfully scanned, a prompt will appear 

        

Recall Transaction

  • If the Transaction button is selected, a Transaction Recall window will appear in SmartPOS displaying the Transaction from the receipt

        

Recall Account Only

  • If the Account Only button is selected, the linked Account from the Transaction will be selected in SmartPOS to begin a new Transaction
