This brief article explains the SmartController option 'Reload All Devices'. Typically when adding Tills, Printers, Workstations, and Venues, SmartController would need to be rebooted in order to recognise and allow connections from those new Devices. However, a Menu option is now available within SmartController under the File Menu named: 'Reload All Devices'. This will immediately re-read all setups from the database for Tills, Printers, Workstations, and Venues and reload the internal memory structures and update the relevant screens lists.

1. After opening SmartController, navigate to the File menu at the top-left of the window
2. Within the File menu, an option called 'Reload All Devices' can be found; click it
3. A confirmation prompt will appear; if you do wish to reload All Devices, click Yes
