4 | Renewing Memberships via SmartPOS

This article covers a how-to guide to renewing Memberships in SmartPOS. Selecting the Membership function button will open a window displaying the Account's Current Membership and the date that the Membership is Renewed until. This window will also permit the Operator to Renew or Change the Account's Membership.

Selecting the Membership function button will open a window displaying the Account's Current Membership and the date that the Membership is Renewed until. This window will also permit the Operator to Renew or Change the Account's Membership.

Prerequisites 

  • To access Membership Till features, the applicable Operator Privileges   will need to be enabled 
    • Operator Maintenance 'Till Privileges' Tab
      • General: "Operate Tills" Flag
      • Accounts & Membership: "Account Till Functions" Flag

Renew Membership

  • If Renew Membership is selected, a window will then open displaying the various Renewal methods showing the Name of the Renewal, Total Fee, and the length of the Renewal including Date
  • Select a Renewal method either by double-tapping on the desired Renewal or by highlighting and tapping the Select button
  • A prompt will then display allowing the Operator to review and confirm the selected Renewal
  • The Membership Renewal will then be added to the Transaction Window
  • This membership can be changed from SmartPOS whenever required by clicking on the same button
