Aside from the obvious prerequisite of needing a ResDiary Account created & configured according to an Organization's needs, there are requirements within Bepoz that must be met in order for the integration between ResDiary and Bepoz to function properly. There are two parts for the ResDiary Interface Configuration: Venue Settings and  Device Setup.

Prerequisites

  • To access ResDiary Setup features, the applicable Operator Privileges will need to be enabled
    • Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab
      • System Setup: "Maintain Venue, Stores & Tills" Flag
      • System Setup: "Access Venue, Stores & Tills" Flag

Venue Maintenance

Shifts/Services

  • Within the  Main Tab of Venue Maintenance , in the Shift Details section, the Shift Names & Earliest Start Time for each should match as closely as possible to the "Services" that are configured in ResDiary
  • For example, in this demonstration, this Restaurant has three (3) Services/Shifts: Brunch from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Lunch from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and Dinner from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM
    • These are configured in ResDiary and the Shift Names and Start Times should match accordingly

Graphical Tables Flags

  • The Graphical Tables Flags section of  Venue Maintenance  should be configured as follows:
    • Of course, disable the Do Not Use Graphical Tables flag
    • Enable the Display Table Number flag
    • Enable the Display Table Name flag
    • Optionally enable the following flags:
      • Display Guest Count
      • Display Table Balance
    • It's recommended to disable the remaining flags when integrating with ResDiary

Bepoz TableMap & ResDiary Table List

  • This may be another obvious, but the  TableMap/s  configured in BackOffice and Tables List configured in ResDiary should match and be accurate to the Tables in the Venue
