      27 | Return On Investment Report Data Explained

      This article explains the report data of the _Return on Investment view for the ROI Report which i s useful while analyzing the Returns accumulated by the business and identifying the Profitable Products.

      This article explains the report data of the  _Return on Investment view for the ROI Report which i s useful while analyzing the Returns accumulated by the business and identifying the Profitable Products. Prerequisites 
      • To access Return On Investment Settings, the applicable Operator Privileges will need to be enabled 
        • Operator Maintenance 'Reporting' Tab
          • Other Reports: "Allow Analysis Reports" Flag
      "_Return on Investment" View
      • This is the default View for the Return on Investment Report
      • The _Return on Investment View displays the total return business has earned from the products it invested upon
      • This view displays the Profit earned in relation to the Sold Qty and Cost of Products Sold

      Data Description/Formula
      Item Volume
      • This column displays the Volume of Item
      Qty on Hand
      • This column displays the Total Quantity of Product on Hand for the reporting period
      CostEx on Hand
      • This column displays the CostEx of Products on Hand for the reporting period
      Average Qty on Hand
      • This column displays the Average Quantity of Product on Hand 
      Average CostEx
      • This column displays the Cost Ex of the Average Quantity of Product on Hand 
      Sold Qty
      • This column displays the Total Quantity of Products Sold during the reporting period
      Sold Per Day
      • This column displays the Average Quantity of Products Sold per day during the reporting period
      Stock Turns
      • This column displays the Stock Turnover for the Reporting Period
      Return on Investment
      • This column displays the ROI received from selling the Products
      • I.e., ROI = Nett Sales/ Cost of Product
      Profit Ex tax
      • This column displays the Profit earned by selling the Products excluding Tax
      • I.e., Profit Ex Tax = Nett Sales - Cost of Products
