      18 | Sales Report Creator

      This article covers Sales Report Generator along with its different features and View types. The Sales Report Creator is a report generator that allows for concocting reports with various options not available in other Reports. The Sales Report Creator displays the total Sales summary of individual profits which can be used to analyze high-profit and low-profit Products.

      The Sales Report Creator displays the total Sales summary of individual profits which can be used to analyze high-profit and low-profit Products.

      Prerequisites
      • To access Sales Report Creator, the applicable Operator Privileges   will need to be enabled 
        • Operator Maintenance 'Reporting' Tab
          • Sales Reports: "Allow Product Reports" Flag
      Accessing Sales Report Creator
      • Complete the following steps to access Stock Summaries:
        1. Log in to BackOffice
        2. From the side menu, Select "Sales Reports" to expand the list of Available Reports
        3. Select Sales Report Creator which will open a new Sales Report Creator Window

      Field

      Description

      Images
      Report Type
      • Product: Report Data will be grouped  based on products
      • Operator: Report Data will be grouped  based on Operators
      • Account: Report Data will be grouped  based on Account Holders
      • Store: Report Data will be grouped  based on Stores
      • Date: Report Data will be grouped  based on specific Dates

      Filters
      • Product- Filter by Product
        • Sizes: Filters by the size of the product
      • Operator- Filter by Operator
      • Supplier- Filter by Supplier
      • Venue- Filter by Venue
      • Store- Filter by Store
      • Till- Filter by Till
      • Voucher Type- Filter by the different Voucher types issued and redeemed

      Options
      • "Cash" Sales- Include Cash Sales
      • Account Sales- Include Account-based sales
      • Table Sales- Include Table based sales
      • Other Account Sales- Allows to include or exclude sales to accounts that were via the Delivery or Pickup Function 
      • Show Product Sizes- Display Product sizes sold
      • Ingredients Sales- Display Ingredients sold

      Display Period
      • Allows operators to display data of a particular Period, Time or Shift

      Account Profile
      • Allows Operators to view Sales Report of customers belonging to a specific Account Profile 

      Product Profile
      • Allows Operators to view Sales Report of products belonging to a specific Product Profile 

      Product Totals
      • This Flag will be active only after a specific Product profile has been chosen
      • This shows the total sales of individual products

      Inactive
      • This will list all the Products/ Operators/ Account holders along with the Inactive ones

      Location
      • This groups the data based on specific locations

      Pivot Table
      • Pivot Table is only available by specific Location
        • It will be greyed out if it's not an available option
        • Pivot Table changes the location into columns
        • Data displayed when the Table is pivoted can be changed by the View Drop Down Box

       

      • It has the ability to create reports very similar to other reports in the system, but since the Sales Report Creator generates its reports from individual transactions, reports will take substantially longer to generate
      • It is always recommended that general reports are created in Product Summaries, Till Summaries, etc.
      Report View OptionsStandard View
      • This is a standard View for the Sales Report Creator
      • This type of view contains the following fields
       

       

      Fields

      Description
      Store/Store Group/Venue/Venue Group
      • This field will only show if a specific Store/ Store Group/ Venue/ Venue Group is selected from the Location drop-down box
      Name
      • This shows the name of the Product
      Units Sold
      • This shows the total number of units sold for a particular product
      Gross
      • This shows the Gross amount generated after selling the product
      Nett Total
      • This shows the Nett amount generated after selling the product
      Costex of Sales
      • This shows the Cost of Sales excluding Tax
      ProfitAmt
      • This shows the total profit amount generated from Sales
      Profit%
      • This shows the total profit amount in percentage

      • Time Break Sales is a View option in the Sales Report Creator. When the view is selected, the report will display data by Time Breaks set in the Global settings under the Reporting Breakups tab

       

       

       

       

       

       

       

       

       

       

      Time Break Sales Cover View

      • To create this view, Go to View Maintenance and Type in a Name for the View
      • Using the filter option, filter the covers view options and select the whole list

      • Save the view and when opened this view will display the Time Break Sales Cover Report
      Age Group Sales View
      • Age Group Sales is a View option in the Sales Report Creator
      • When the View is selected, the report will display data by Age Groups set in the Global Settings under the Reporting Breakups tab
