This article provides an overview of SevenRooms walk-ins from SmartPOS, along with how to customize the walkin duration being sent to SevenRooms.Prerequisites
- In order to perform SevenRooms Walk-ins from SmartPOS; the following Operator prerequisites have to be fulfilled

SevenRooms Walkins from SmartPOS Workflow
- Login to SmartPOS and click on the walk-in option to create a walk-in for SevenRooms
- Select the table number from the list
- Note: For the interface to work, table numbers should match between SevenRooms and Bepoz
- Enter the customer name, phone number, and the guest count
- Add a few sample products to the booking and save the table
- The created walk-in is now updated at SevenRooms
- Login to SmartPOS and click on the walk-in option to create a walk-in for SevenRooms
- Select the table number from the list
- Note: For the interface to work, table numbers should match between SevenRooms and Bepoz
- Enter the customer name, phone number, and the guest count
- Add a few sample products to the booking and save the table
- The created walk-in is now updated at SevenRooms
Default Walkin Duration
Minimum Bepoz version of v4.7.3.0 and onwards
Users now have the ability to configure the duration of walkins that are initiated from SmartPOS.
There are two new options within the SevenRooms till extension device:
- Default Walkin Duration
- If a value is configured, every walkin that is initiated from SmartPOS will be seated with this booking duration in the Seven Rooms booking portal
- Enable Custom Walkin Duration
- If this flag is enabled, the user will be prompted to enter a custom value for every walkin that is initiated from SmartPOS
- If both the default walkin duration has been set, and the enable custom walkin duration has been enabled, the user will be prompted in SmartPOS to enter a custom duration with the default value entered automatically
- The user can choose to accept the default 120 minutes, or, they can enter a custom value
- If the user enters zero, the walkin will default to SevenRooms value of 90 minutes (or whatever is configured in their portal)
