KDS Workflow - How to bump multiple orders through SmartKDS Server

SmartKDS Server - Bump Orders

Overview

The primary purpose of using the Bump Orders feature in SmartKDS Server is to address situations where an outage has occurred. After reconnecting, the KDS Screen will display all the orders that were missed during the downtime. In this case, staff can utilize the Bump Orders function to efficiently remove multiple redundant orders from a single screen. Users have the option to specify a date and time range for the dockets they want to clear.

Bump Orders - Workflow

1. Open SmartKDS Server

2. Navigate to Workstation Settings

3. Click on 'Bump Orders'

4. Set a date range within the Bump Orders Prompt    

5. Set a time range within the Bump Orders Prompt

6. Click on 'Bump'

7. Confirm Date & Time, Workstation ID & Click 'OK'

8. Any docket that meets the criteria set will be auto cleared from the SmartKDS Client
