This article covers the usage of SmartKDS which includes KDS workstation and the order receipts received from SmartPOS.
Overview
SmartKDS is a Bepoz Kitchen Display System (KDS) that helps to create increased operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
The SmartKDS is used to display items added to Orders on SmartPOS terminals to the kitchen staff
Once the items or whole Order is prepared, the system visually notifies that it is ready for collection and delivery via a KDS display screen/s and Printed docket
Prerequisites
Minimum of Bepoz v4.7.2.7 + is required
SmartKDS Workstation
All the transactions from SmartPOS are displayed on SmartKDS workstation and the order receipt is structured with a header and body.
Receipt Header
The SmartKDS receipt header displays the below:
Order transaction number
Order received time
Timer which starts from the order received time
When an order is selected and clicked on 'Prepare' button, a 'PREPARING' text is displayed on the order receipt header which indicated that selected order is in preparation
When an order is selected and clicked on 'Rush' button, a 'RUSH' text is displayed on the order receipt header which indicated that selected order is in priority for preparation
Receipt Body
The SmartKDS receipt body displays the below order details:
Order details includes the type/sort of the product, product name, quantity of the product and seat number
Table number, guest count, account name, account number
Delivery/ Pickup order
