About
- The SmartPDE Mobile app can be used in a variety of settings, but primarily inside a Venue's Storeroom:
- A use case would be that an Operator receives delivery of Product (no PO has been created), confirms the Products' quantities & costs into the SmartPDE Mobile app, and sends this information from the SmartPDE Mobile app to BackOffice by creating a Manual Receipt attaching the specified Products with their CostEx and sending this Stock transaction to the server i.e. BackOffice where the Admin posts that Manual Receipt and accepts the Products within the database via BackOffice
- At a later point, the Operator can select certain Products and Create a Stock Transfer from a Venue and Store to any other Store within the available Venue/s
- It supports Multi-Venue architecture as well
- The Product Barcodes can also be added to the Products and sent to BackOffice via the SmartPDE Mobile app
- Product Quantities can also be modified within the Stock Functions before sending them to server
- Stock Transactions can also be deleted from the SmartPDE Mobile App if need be by the Operator with a valid Managers Override Login
- The SmartPDE Mobile app can perform a plethora of Stock Functions such as Price Checks, entering Requisitions, creating Purchase Orders, entering Manual Receipts, entering counts for Stocktakes, and creating & receiving Transfers
- This Mobile app requires setup in Store Maintenance & Scheduled Jobs to be configured and connection of the database on the mobile device with that of the database within BackOffice
- This is done through setup required from within the app as well as from BackOffice
Prerequisites
- Minimum Bepoz version of 4.7 is required for this functionality
- To create workstations within BackOffice, the applicable Operator Privileges will need to be enabled

BackOffice Setup
- Quick and easy configuration in Store Maintenance where a new Workstation needs to be created as a SmartPDE workstation to connect a device to this workstation
- A Scheduled Job needs to be configured which then allows the database between the mobile device and BackOffice connect
- Operator privilege flags must be enabled in order to access the necessary features in SmartPDE Mobile
SmartPDE Mobile Functionality
- Ability to add a barcode to a product from the SmartPDE Mobile app
- Ability to send a stock transaction to the server to update the BackOffice
- Ability to do a Price Check i.e. check the price for any product within any store and venue through the SmartPDE Mobile app
- Ability to add products and create a Requisition from SmartPDE Mobile app
- Ability to create a Purchase Order with a selected Supplier from the SmartPDE Mobile app
- Ability to enter a Manual Receipt from the SmartPDE Mobile app for the delivery of products
