Prerequisites
BackOffice Application Installation
Setup Guide
Once the Core Installation of Bepoz has been completed see above link under prerequisites
You can navigate to Bepoz\\Programs and run the application 'Database.exe'
When prompted for a password enter in 'do4safet'
Navigate to 'Set Registry Settings' Tab
This is where you will specify what application you require to launch at System Startup, along with specifying an Autologon.
The general default for POS will have 'Start SmartPOS', 'Start SmartPrint' and 'Start SmartFTP32' but dependant on the setup you could have other Bepoz application that is required at Startup.
Ensure BEstartup runs at Boot, select the Startup Application and check the AutoLogon and Enter a 'Username' and 'Password' for the current Windows user where SmartPOS has been installed.
Click 'Set Registry' and then click 'Close'.
Reboot the Pos Unit and ensure that all the desired application launch at system startup.
SmartPOS will now present with a 'Waiting to Connect to Server' Prompt.
Select the 'Help' Button
Enter in the Access Code 'do4safet'
Then Select Bepoz Diagnostics
This will launch the Diagnostics Utility to be used to set the correct IP address for the Smartcontroller workstation.
Navigate to Bepoz Connections Tab
Within the Network (1) section you can specify the IP address that the POS should be using.
Within the Smartcontroller (2) section, you can specify the IP address that the POS should be connecting to.
You can Find a Smartcontroller with the 'Find Smartcontrollers' button - note this can fail to find a smartcontroller dependant on network security. if Diagnostics cannot automatically find Smartcontroller you can then select Change Smartcontoller IP Address and enter in the IP address manually, if a successful connection is made the box will highlight in green.
This complete the guide on how to install and setup SmartPOS.
