SmartPOS Mobile - Force Pay@Table Mode

Overview

This article explains how to use the Pay@Table Force mode on SmartPOS Mobile.

Prerequisites
  • Minimum Bepoz version of 4.7.3.3

  • Minimum .NET version of 4.8

  • The applicable Operator Privileges will need to be enabled:

    • Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab

      • System Setup: "Maintain Till Function Maps" flag

    • Venue Maintenance "Main" Tab (General Settings) 

      • All “System Setup” Flags


Force Pay@Table on SmartPOS Mobile Transactions
  • To activate force Pay@Table mode click the “Products” button on the navigation bar continuously five times to open the Configuration Screen.

    • Enable the toggleable option “Pay At Table Mode”. Restart the application after enabling.

  • The device will now only be used for Pay@Table payments.

    • When logging in, the user is presented with the standard Pay@Table Table selection screen. From here tables can be selected and the user will be directed to the Payment Screen.

    • Regular SmartPOS Mobile functionality is not available in Force Pay@Table Mode.

  • To deactivate Force Pay@Table Mode, click the Table Grid icon located in the top right of the screen continuously five times to open the Configuration Screen.

    • Disable the toggleable option “Pay At Table Mode”. Restart the application after disabling.
