      SmartPOS Mobile - Pay@Table - Prompt for TableNumber

      Overview

      This article explains how to use the Prompt for TableNumber option for Pay@Table mode on SmartPOS Mobile.

      Prerequisites

      • Minimum Bepoz version of 4.7.3.3

      • Minimum .NET version of 4.8

      • The applicable Operator Privileges will need to be enabled:

        • Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab

          • System Setup: "Maintain Till Function Maps" flag

        • Venue Maintenance "Main" Tab (General Settings) 

          • All “System Setup” Flags

      Pay@Table Prompt for TableNumber

      • To turn on Prompt for TableNumber, click the “Products” button on the navigation bar continuously five times to open the Configuration Screen.

        • Enable the toggleable option “Prompt for TableNumber”. Restart the application after enabling.

      • Prompt for TableNumber respects the Default TableGroup that is set for the workstation within Backoffice.

        • The Default TableGroup is located under the SmartAPI tab.

      • When the user launches Pay@Table, a prompt will appear to input a Table Number.

        • Entering a Table Number that is open within the Default TableGroup will direct the user to the Pay@Table Payment Screen.

        • Entering a Table Number that is not currently open or does not exist within the Default TableGroup will display the following message “Table does not exist”. After Acknowledging the prompt, the Enter Table Number prompt is re-displayed.

      • The user is able to hit the “Cancel” button on the prompt to use Pay@Table normally.

        • This allows use of the standard workflow of selecting tables via the GUI.

        • If the user wishes to re-display the prompt after cancelling it, a button is located at the bottom of the screen to do so. This button will only be shown when the TableGroup filter located at the top of the screen is set to the Default TableGroup.
