      SmartPOS Mobile Till Function Map Setup Guide

      Overview

      Adding a SmartPOS Mobile Till Function Map within BackOffice is the third step required to setup and start using SmartPOS Mobile. 

      It will ensure efficient operations by providing the essential functionality to SmartPOS mobile 

      Here is a template: 

      Prerequisites

      • Minimum Bepoz version of 4.7.3.x 

      • Minimum .NET version of 4.8

      • Completion of SmartPOS Mobile App Setup in the given order:

        1. SmartPOS Mobile Workstation Setup

        2. SmartPOS Mobile Venue Maintenance Setup

      • The applicable Operator Privileges will need to be enabled:

        • Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab

          • System Setup: "Access Venue, Stores & Tills" flag

          • System Setup: "Maintain Till Function Maps" flag

      Till Function Map Setup

      • To setup the till function buttons for SmartPOS mobile, navigate to the Till Function Map option under System Setup in Backoffice side menu

      • This will open the Till Function Override Setup tab; select the desired function map from the list of maps and click Edit Highlighted Function Map or double-click on the desired function map

      • N.B. If a function map specific to SmartPOS Mobile needs to be created, please follow this guide:

        •  Adding a Till Function Map

      • This will open the Function Map tab which will display the Function Map menu as it would appear in SmartPOS

      • Within SmartPOS Mobile application, there are 4 screens/tabs, these tabs are Table, Product, Order and Pay tab. They correspond to different panels within the Till Function Map. They're mapped as follows:

        • Table = pnlTable

        • Product = pnlStock

        • Order = pnlFunc1

        • Pay = pnlFunc2

        • Condiments = pnlCondiment

      • Note: To learn more about adding a panel or browsing through panels, please click on Configuring Till Function Maps

      • An Operator can configure each panel according to their own specifications, however, as a suggestion from Bepoz, the following panels have been configured for SmartPOS Mobile

      • The pnlTable has been configured as follows:

      • The pnlStock has been configured as follows:

      • The pnlFunc1 has been configured as follows:

      • The pnlFunc2 has been configured as follows:

      • Note: The Till Function buttons configured within these panels are not mandatory and the Operator is free to configure the Till Function buttons based on their unique requirements 

       

      • The pnlCondiment has been configured as follows: 

        • This panel should be configured as 5 by 5
