Price Number and Price Store Redirection
  • This section allows for Redirecting where the Store's Pricing will come from (or not be Redirected at all)
  • The Price Names refer to the Price Names as configured in Venue Settings; all Price Names as defined in the Venue Record will appear in this column
    • Each Price Name in a Store can be Redirected from another Store and/or Price Numbers can be Redirected to use another Price Number
  • For each Price Name, use the Redirected To Store option in the same row to designate another Store to retrieve a Price Number from
    • If a Redirected To Price is not set in the same row then the same Price Number in that Store will be used
    • This means that for the time when that price is active in this store the system can be re-directed to a different store for its pricing
      • This could be for higher pricing when a late night charge applies, for lower pricing when a happy hour becomes active or for the purpose of setting all stores to have the same pricing so that all applicable stores are redirected to the store in which all prices are set
    • This can also be used with the Override Map function of a Temporary Price Level Key Set change to redirect the till to get the prices from another store on the basis of a temporary requirement such as when a take away product is sold in a store that normally sells “dine/eat” in products and the take away price is less and it is required to credit the sale to the take away store and not dilute the profits of the selling store
  • The Redirected To Price selects a different Price Number to retrieve Pricing from
    • If also being redirected to another Store, that other Store's Pricing Number will be used
    • This could be where when Happy Hour is selected as a Price Level, the System Redirects to a Store that has a lower Price than the current Store so that file maintenance of Prices is simpler with fewer levels to maintain
  • As an example (see visual), if Redirecting the 'Normal' Price Name in this Store to Pricing from the Store called 'Bepoz Square Cocktail Bar' and Redirecting the Price to 'Premium', then when selling Products in this Store at the 'Normal' Price, their Pricing will actually be Redirected to use the Pricing from the 'Premium' Price of the 'Bepoz Square Cocktail Bar'

Restocked From
  • This setting specifies the Default Store that this Store sources Stock from when being Restocked (such as a Warehouse in the Venue)
    • Use the drop-down to select the desired Store from the Venue's available list of Stores
  • Normal Transfers can specify any sourcing Store, however, Restocks will use this Store by Default

Export Codes
  • The Export Codes fields are custom fields that can be used for Reporting purposes

Stocking Store Type Redirections
  • This allows for the Inventory - or Stock - of different Store Type Products (as configured for each Product on the Product Settings Tab of Product Maintenance) to deduct from a different Store
    • The drop-downs shown will be increased if the number of Store Types configured in Global Settings is increased (up to 4), but it is recommended that this is limited to as few as possible for simplicity sake and to more easily understand the Stock System
  • In a Venue where Bulk products such as kegs of beer are Stocked in a Cellar or Beer Room, this Redirection allows for that Inventory to be deducted directly from that Store where the Inventory is Stocked; this eliminates the need for transfers
