38 | "Table Item Details" Sub-Function

This article outlines the "Table Item Details" Sub-Function, how it is configured in BackOffice, and how it can be used in SmartPOS. The Table Item Details Sub-Function allows Operators to the view details of active Tables. There are a number of details that can be viewed using this function, including Transaction Times and Dates, and Operator and Workstation Usage.

The Table Item Details Sub-Function allows Operators to the view details of active Tables. 

There are a number of details that can be viewed using this function, including Transaction Times and Dates, and Operator and Workstation Usage.

Prerequisites 

  • To access Till Function Settings, the applicable Operator Privileges will need to be enabled 
    • Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab
      • System Setup: "Maintain Till Function Maps" Flag
  • To access and use this Till Function within SmartPOS, the following Operator Privileges will need to be enabled
    • Operator Maintenance 'Till Privileges' Tab
      • Tables: "Table Sales" Flag 
      • Tables: "Create New Tables" Flag
      • Tables: "Table Payments" Flag
      • Tables: "Close Tables" Flag

Initial Setup 

  • Click on the desired Button space and configure the Button Settings:
    • In the Button Text field enter the text that will display on the Till Function Buttons on SmartPOS Workstation screens
    • Set the Function drop-down to 'Tables & Accounts'
    • Set the Sub-Function to 'Table Item Details" 



Function-Specific Configuration Options

  • There are no function-specific configuration options to be set with this Till Function 

SmartPOS Example

  • Whilst in a table transaction, after selecting the Table Item Details Sub-function, the Table Items Details list will appear displaying: 
    • Date and Time when each Product was Ordered 
    • The Operator in who made the Order 
    • The Workstation in which the Order was made
