This article resolves the issue of Transaction ID on Keylog Report not marrying with Transaction Journal on Version 4.5.1.124 by providing a new version 4.5.1.125.

Problem

  • Transaction ID on the Keylog Report will not marry with transaction journal due to the following: Error: | Object reference not set to an instance of an object.| in | Voucher_multibuyused that appears on the till During a transaction
  • The issue occurs in version 4.5.1.124 and below is the known scenario to replicate the issue
    • Enter Operator number to log into till
    • Select Payment > Eftpos 
    • Enter Amount for Cash out
    • Over EFTPOS cash limit | Cashout limit = $xx.xx | do you wish to enter manager override? select yes
    • enter Manager override number 
    • select OK
    • Error: | Object reference not set to an instance of an object.| in | Voucher_multibuyused appears on the till.
    • Select Ok
  • When the error occurs, the sale has not finalised and the system continues the keylogs to the next transaction hence why the transactionID does not marry with transaction journal


Solution

  • A fix resolved the issue in version 4.5.1.125 for the message Error: | Object reference not set to an instance of an object.| in | Voucher_multibuyused that appears on the till
  • Operators will need to update to version to 4.5.1.125 or above
