About

  • Tyro produces EFTPOS devices that can be installed and configured in BackOffice so that the physical hardware can be used to process payments in SmartPOS
    • Bepoz is commercially obligated to provide the Tyro Connect Sales API to our mutual customers
  • This integration should provide further functionality to our mutual customers to facilitate a closer customer relationship
  • Tyro Connect offers multiple integrated workflows:
    • Sales Sending
    • Aggregated Ordering
    • Bookings

Prerequisites

  • Minimum Bepoz version of v4.6.1.20 and onwards
  • For an Operator to be able to manage Devices & Interfaces, the following Operator Privileges will need to be enabled:
    • System Setup: "Maintain Venue, Stores & Tills" Flag
    • System Setup: "Access Venue, Stores & Tills" Flag
    • Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab

Key Features BackOffice Setup
  • A Transaction Queue Device is required so that we can configure the necessary settings for the Sales Data to send to Tyro as expected
  • For the initial activation during Device setup, we're able to request an authorization token to facilitate secure communication
    • Upon request, we will automatically retrieve the authorization token along with other required data
  • After the Transaction Queue Device is added and configured correctly, all sales data will be sent to the Tyro Connect Server
SmartPOS Functionality
  • Once the BackOffice configurations are completed, Operators when make a transaction at SmartPOS, the customer's sales data is sent to Tyro
