      4 | Utopia Gaming Interface Till Extension Device Setup to Support Vouchers

      This article covers the setup required to configure the BackOffice Till Extension Device for Bepoz and Utopia Gaming Interface to support Vouchers issued by Utopia Gaming.

      This article covers the setup required to configure the BackOffice Till Extension Device for Bepoz and Utopia Gaming Interface to support Vouchers issued by Utopia Gaming.

      Prerequisites

      • Minimum Bepoz version of v4.6.2.6 and onwards
      • To access and setup BackOffice Till Extension device for Utopia Gaming, the following Operator privileges must be enabled:
        • Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab
          • System Setup Flags - "Access Venue Stores & Tills flag
          • System Setup Flags - "Maintain Venue Stores & Tills flag

      Utopia Gaming Till Extension Device Setup

      • After logging into BackOffice, complete the following steps to create & configure Utopia Gaming Till Extension device:
        1. Navigate to the System Setup component in the sidebar, expand, and select Venue, Stores & Tills to open the Venue & Till List Tab
        2. Highlight the desired Till and click on the Add New Device button in the header; when prompted select 'Blank Device' and a New Device and Interfaces Maintenance  window will open
        3. Enter a relevant Device Name, set the Device Type to 'Till Extension, the External DLL Name  to 'Tillx_utopiagaming.Dll', and the Class Name  to 'Utopia Gaming'
        4. Within the Device Options, enter the Base URL provided by Utopia to connect from Bepoz to Utopia Gaming System
        5. Click OK to save the settings

      Utopia Gaming - Vouchers Setup

      • In addition to the Till Extension device setup, relevant vouchers must also be setup in Bepoz
        • Note: To learn more about on how to create vouchers, please click  here
      • After the vouchers have been setup as desired in Bepoz BackOffice, the "Voucher Setup ID's" must be manually mapped to vouchers setup within Utopia Gaming respectively
        • The Voucher types supported are
          • Item Disc Voucher by Sort & Type
          • Item Disc Amt
          • Item Disc Perc
          • Order Disc Amt
          • Order Disc Perc
          • Product Promotions
          • Multi-Buy Promos
          • Gift Certificates
        • Note: Each individual Voucher Setup ID must be mapped only to the corresponding Voucher in Utopia Gaming   
      • Once the setup is completed, users can scan their voucher QR code available in their 'Universal Rewards' mobile application on SmartPOS during a transaction and redeem the voucher similar to a normal Bepoz Voucher redeem
