NZ EFTPOS Interfaces

1 | Verifone 2-Way Interface (NZ)

There is an interface for New Zealand to the Verifone terminal via TCPIP or RS232. This is a standalone EFTPOS interface – meaning that each till connects direct to each EFTPOS terminal (Bepoz Version 4.1.0.0). The EFTPOS unit can either use an Internet connection to the EFTPOS NZ or a telephone line. This Interface is supported by both CE Tills and Windows Tills.

The EFTPOS unit can either use an Internet connection to the EFTPOS NZ or a telephone line. This Interface is supported by both CE Tills and Windows Tills.

The TCPIP Interface only connects to the EFTPOS unit for the period of the EFTPOS transaction; then it disconnects. This means that for the TCPIP interface type, multiple Tills can connect to, and share one EFTPOS unit. Obviously however, only one EFTPOS transaction can be done at a time.
