12 | Viewing an Alert

This article covers a how-to guide to viewing Alerts in BackOffice. Following from the Creating an Alert Article, Alerts can then be viewed and accessed within the Audit Report. There are various options that can be applied to help filter and prioritize Alerts to the Operator.

Following from the  Creating an Alert  Article, Alerts can then be viewed and accessed within the  Audit Report.

There are various options that can be applied to help filter and prioritize Alerts to the Operator.

Prerequisites 

  • To access Alerts, the applicable Operator Privileges will need to be enabled:
    • Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab
      • Operational Setup: "Maintain Alerts & Contacts" Flag
    • Operator Maintenance 'Reporting' Tab
      • Other Reports: "Allow Table Reports" Flag 
      • Other Reports: "Allow Audit Reports" Flag
      • Other Reports: "Allow Handle All Audit Alerts" Flag

Viewing Alerts

  • Select the Alert Button to view the list of Alerts


  • The number will change depending on how many Alerts are currently pending
  • This list will default to show current UN-handled alerts for the past 30 days
  • Change the display period from the drop-down list to view more Alerts


  • There is a range of Options to tailor the Report Data shown


  • Each Alert can be viewed individually by double-clicking it from the list
  • Similar to below, a pop-up box will appear


  • At this point,  optionally select: " Set Alert to Handled" which will remove it from the Alerts list
  • Cancel - Will close the pop-up and not change the status of the Alert
  • OK - Will also close the pop-up and not change the status of the Alert
  • After selecting "Set Alert to Handled" the following prompt will appear:


  • Select Yes to confirm the status change to handled

To handle all warnings select the"OK all Warnings" from above the Alert list
