This article explains the use of Assembly devices to enable Assembly EFTPOS payment in SmartPOS. Once they are finished, Operators can use the Assembly EFTPOS device to process payments. SmartPOS will automatically show the option for Assembly given that pairing has been done and device has been setup properly in BackOffice.

Prerequisites

  • To operate SmartPOS, following operator privileges need to be enabled
    • Operator Maintenance 'Till Privileges' Tab 

Step-by-step Guide

  1. Once the products have been added in a transaction; press on 'Payments' to finalise the transaction
  2. This will open the Payment window which allows operators to select from various payment process
  3. Press on the 'Eftpos' option which will provide operators with available Eftpos options
  4. Press on 'Assembly' or any name given for the device

  • If Assembly has been selected, the device will prompt for customers to pay and SmartPOS will show following prompt

  • If Payment is processed in Eftpos, following prompts will appear

  • Operators are also allowed to refunds and other normal Eftpos functions from Assembly
