3 | WIN Gaming Interface BackOffice Settings

This article is a how-to guide to configuring the WIN Interface within BackOffice. Bepoz uses CALink to get the gaming points for Accounts. Customers can then redeem these points during transactions via SmartPOS. To set up the WIN Interface, a CALink Server setup is required followed by few BackOffice settings which are explained in this article.

To set up the WIN Interface, a CALink Server setup is required followed by few BackOffice settings which are explained in this article.

Prerequisites

  • For Operators to be able to set up the WIN Interface in BackOffice, the applicable Operator Privileges will need to be enabled:
    • Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab
      • System Setup: "Access Venue, Stores & Tills" Flag
      • System Setup: "Maintain Venue, Stores & Tills" Flag
    • Operator Maintenance 'Maintenance' Tab
      • Accounts & Membership: "View Accounts" Flag 
      • Accounts & Membership: "Edit Accounts" Flag 

Venue Settings

  • Go to System Setup > Venue, Stores & Tills
  • Double-click the venue which will open Venue Maintenance
  • Click on the  'External Links'  Tab
  • In the CALink #1 Gaming Points Link, fill in the details based on CALink settings and select OK


Till Settings

  • Go to Workstation Maintenance and select  'Flags/Others'  Tab
  • Tick the 'Use CALink' flag on


Account Settings

  • After logging into BackOffice, go to Maintenance > Account
  • Select an Account Group and double-click an Account which will open the Member Maintenance window
  • Go to  'Main Setups'   and tick the 'Use CALink for Points' flag
  • Select OK


  • The Account has to be maintained in both BackOffice and WIN Systems to obtain points from WIN Systems
  • The Account details also require the Account number to be exact in both WIN Systems and BackOffice
  • Once this is done, Operators can open the Account in   SmartPOS  and get the points updated
