YourOrder Mobile/Email Opt-In

This feature allows venues to prompt customers if they would like to receive marketing messages via email or mobile. The feature allows YourOrder to update matched accounts in Bepoz to allow receipt of SMS or email messaging.

The feature gives the venues’ customer management teams another tool to reach out and connect with their customers.

Setting up Opt-in Mobile/Email

This can be found in Settings>Feature Control.

Users can select to enable this feature on or off for email or mobile, or both.

Once the flag is on, customers will see a tick box whether they would want to opt in when they sign up for an account or during checkout. Guest users will also see this prompt at checkout. A link for the Terms and Conditions of signing up is also shown.

The disclaimer message at the bottom is hard-coded and cannot be changed as this is a legal requirement in some countries and jurisdictions.

Opt-in can also be done by opening the account profile once a customer has signed in.

Once a customer opts in, YourOrder will record the customer details and the Receive SMS and Receive Email flags for the user will be enabled. The user’s account in Bepoz will also be updated to be able to receive Email, SMS, or both, depending on what the customer chose to opt in to.
