Setting up

In the backpanel, go to Settings> Feature Control. This is where the Alcoholic Items and Food Items flags can be turned on or off.

Once enabled, the options to tag Categories and individual products as food or alcoholic items becomes available on the setup screen.

To tag items as either Food or Alcoholic, their respective categories must have either one of them enabled. Once enabled, individual items can be set as food or alcoholic from the main Products screen. Users can set all items or do it individually from this screen.

Note: An item can only be tagged as either Food or Alcoholic, but not both. Selecting one option will disable the other.

Users can also double-click on individual items and turn the flag on or off under Misc Settings in the Product edit screen.

Food Items - Serve Meal/Course together

After items have been tagged as food items, the Serve Meal/Course together option should be enabled to give customers the ability to group their food items in a certain category. This feature is only available for venues using the Bepoz system.

The flag is found in Settings>Bepoz> Serve Meal/Course together. After setting to On, the mode can be set to either Sort or Type. In most cases, Sort is used as the Entrees, Main, and Dessert options for the sort are already set in Bepoz.

Once the mode is set, labels must be set and match it to the sort that is in Bepoz. Click on the Add Sort/Type button to add the labels. Type in a label and match it with the sort in Bepoz in the dropdown list. Use the Remove button to delete entries as needed.

Ordering Screen

Once customers select an item tagged as food, the system will then ask for the Serving Option, and the labels set up previously will now appear as the options to select from. Customers can now decide how they would want their food orders to be served to them based on whether the item was tagged as food.

The cart will group the food items based on the option selected. For items not tagged as Food, they will be displayed as All Other Items.
